Erika Beecham, Eric Selden, and Justin Jory of Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School won the 2005 Ruby R. Vale Interschool Corporate Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the Moot Court Honor Society at Widener University School of Law in Delaware. The runners-up were Christina Dallen, Mark Lovell, and Megan Dunham from the University of California - Hastings College of Law.
The best oral advocate award went to Warren Allen from Georgetown University Law Center. The Donald E. Pease Best Corporate Brief Award went to the Mercer University School of Law team of Yoon Hwang, Chesley McLeod and Brett Thompson; this team also advanced to the semifinals.
